Micah Smith founded Crescendo Fest in Halifax, turning up the volume on Black music artists in Nova Scotia.
Harpo Mander, Executive Director at 5X Festival, is also the first-ever Panjabi woman to be appointed to the BC Pavillia Corporation Board of Directors. She serves as Co-Chair for the JUNOs South Asian Music Committee.
Brooke Dunford is Director, Booking & Business Development at Republic Live, overseeing Boots and Hearts Music Festival and All Your Friends Festival. She recently won the Ron Sakamoto Talent Buyer or Promoter of the Year.
Alex Simpson, Festival Manager at Live Nation, founded lavendar wild: a music festival celebrating queerness. Its first two years at RBC Echo Beach and HISTORY Toronto have featured Slayyyter, Rebecca Black, and Hayley Kiyoko, among others.
